To everything that grows in silence before it ever reaches the light.
Beneath the surface, something is always beginning. Wild Rust explores the quiet poetry of growth and decay. It is a reflection on what lies beneath the surface, on what transforms, decomposes, and softens with time. Inspired by the unseen movements of the cycle of life, the collection traces the tension between erosion and renewal: the slow spread of copper across stone.
The way fungi find their way through darkness without ever doubting the light above. The strange, unhurried grace of things that transform by surrendering.
Deep earth tones of moss green, rust orange, mineral lilacs, and oxidized purples mirror the slow, organic alchemy of change. Velvet carries the density of something alive beneath it. Mikado holds the quiet precision of bark. Organza trembles at the hem like spores caught in still air.
Designs are textured, layered, and grounded. There is richness in their weight, but freedom in their form. Balloon shapes swell with the slow fullness of something ripening in the dark. Gathered sleeves billow at the wrist, sculptural and unhurried. Mushrooms surface across mikado and silk taffeta, organza and velvet as evidence of the cycle itself. Thread in rust and olive traces the body with the patience of something that has been growing underground for years.
It is an ode to all that breaks down in order to begin again.
